Tony Lupo for Judge
Candidate for Magisterial District Judge
Impartial, fair and firm
My name is Tony Lupo. I am excited to announce my candidacy for District Magistrate Judge 03-3-03, which serves Lower Mount Bethel Township, Upper Mount Bethel Township, Washington Township, Plainfield Township’s Delabole District, Bangor, East Bangor, Roseto, Portland, and Pen Argyl.
I completed the Magisterial District Judge certification course held by the Minor Judiciary Education Board in December 2016. I successfully attained the required certification for a Magisterial Judge.
I have a passion to serve and help my community. I have shown this by supporting local charities, participating in community activities, and building better housing in the area. I want to have a positive affect for change in others. I will bring strong leadership and work ethics to the bench and be an example for others. It would be an honor to protect the citizens of the Slate Belt.
I am a candidate for the people, by the people. A judge must be impartial, open minded, compassionate, fair and firm. I believe that as a common person, a small business owner in the slate belt, that I can fulfill those duties more fairly and impartially for you. In order for a judge to truly have these qualities they must not have political connections or motivations. They should not take campaign contributions. Accepting financial donations threatens the integrity of the position. I do not have any political ties to any party, individual, group, or organization and will not accept donations for my campaign. I will run my campaign with my own money in order to maintain the impartiality that a good Judge must have. This I believe, allows me to be the only truly impartial and fair candidate.
